If we assume nothing will ever possibly work then we may as well just never talk about any problems. The way you are leading this means that literally no solution is good if human beings are involved in any capacity. You can apply it to literally any situation.

This is making the mistakes of letting perfect be the enemy of good.

When I say they need cause, they need provable cause.

You need a solid justifiable reason and a solid explanation for why you thought it was possible. You can't just say well, he was running and maybe he was gonna do something bad. Unless that guy was shouting that he was going to go kill somebody, specifically charging another person, something like that, they've got no actual cause.

If a cop can't figure out that a guy just running away to get away isn't probable cause to murder him, they shouldn't be a cop.

Oh, goody.

I answered if there was a coherent explanation for why studying african american history lacks significant educational value next to studying european history. They both have high educational value. Damn near every possible historical study subject has significant educational value, and someone would have to be biased to claim otherwise.

You immediately demanded I explain my answer to that question, which was general about the educational value of the 2 subjects, as if it were made about the specific choices of the government of florida, which I was not addressing in my reply.

Now that you've made me explain something that should have been overtly evident, again, I responded to a question. Take my post in context with the question I responded to.

If you want to argue with someone about the motives florida has, argue in response to a post that maybe is talking about the motives florida has.

AP African American studies is against the law in Florida?

I would put money down that this is about them trying to claim that this is CRT, when it isn't, which everybody with half a brain warned was going to happen when they passed that law last year

You don't see the same volume of attacks but just with other things in places that aren't flooded with guns. The ready availability of ideal tools for this shit is a core of the problem.

Hell, the variance in gun violence just between states with tighter and looser gun control shows a hard difference.

Yeah, but that's not how these people are ever going to spin that shit.

Imagine if you applied this sort of crap to other medical issues, like somebody claiming that you shouldn't get treatment for cancer because of made up claims about side effects, or you shouldn't get a broken bone set because it'll fill your bones with witch poison and make your children lose their hair in 20 years. It would be overtly insane. A lot of the people who are against covid vaccines would also find that overtly insane, but for some reason, when it comes to covid, it's all fair game for them. People can make up whatever nonsense they want about covid vaccines and they'll just buy in to it for some reason.
