I was just pointing out how odd it seems to me that one country has attacked us here at home, multiple times, and we made allies of them.
Another country has never attacked us here at home, and we call them the enemy.

No Islamic terrorist attack in the US has come from Iran, they almost all came from Saudi Arabia.

We did nothing after the Saudis destroyed the World Trade Center on 9/11. We protected them, let them leave the country, won't unseal the documents that show their collusion with the terrorists.
But we did invade Iraq, for some odd reason. Of course, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
Here we are retaliating against Iranian-backed groups. So we made allies of those who attacked us (Saudis), and made enemies of those who have never attacked us here in the US (Iran).
Weird.

I went to an elementary school that had grades 1-8. There were so many gangs and knife fights that the school cafeteria didn't have any knives at all, not even butter knives.
That was in 1964.
School shootings weren't a thing back then, at least not yet.

We have to assume that Trump shared the information with the Russians. We aren't going to hear about how much damage that does to national security though, because they won't want to publicize what secrets were breached.

The evidence in this case is overwhelming. If any one of us had even one Top Secret/SCI document, we'd be in jail already.
Trump had dozens of them. When asked to give them back, he said they were his. When subpoena'ed, he gave some back and tried to hide the rest. He and his lawyers lied and claimed they gave them all back.
Then the FBI raided and found a bunch more. And video shows Trump was moving them around to try to hide them, even after that.

Trump is pretty openly threatening an attack if he is indicted and arrested. The courthouse and the DA's staff have to be protected against the Trump terrorist attack.

Elephant Butte is a big lake, but you can't eat the fish from it. They are full of mercury from the gold mines in Colorado.
Oh, and since the water is promised to Texas rice farmers, lots of the time the lake isn't really usable as a lake. The water level is so low it's more like a river. 85% empty this month.

Yes, there are exceptions. In general though, women are considered subservient to men in those religions. The more conservative they are, the slower they come around.
billpalto t1_jahrq6b wrote
Women all through the ages have had to fight to get equal rights. The biggest obstacle seems to be religion. All the western religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) say the woman is a helper to man, the man is the leader.
A woman committed the first Sin, and got humanity kicked out of the Garden of Eden. For that, she was cursed to have trouble during childbirth.
Islam, being the newest and youngest religion, seems to be the furthest behind in recognizing that women are God's creation, as much as men, and should be treated as such.

Reply to Retired Air Force officer pleads guilty to possessing classified documents by YsThisGameSoBad
The President and Vice President are basically on duty all the time. Their house, the plane they use, anytime they travel, they bring their portable office with them. When they leave office, it is normal to have a few classified documents by mistake. And when they are found, they are promptly turned in.
What is different about this case and the Trump case is that both of them appeared to have gathered very highly classified documents, and tried to hide them. The Lt Colonel obviously shouldn't have had any top secret documents at all. Trump lied several times and tried to hide his top secret documents. Even today, there is a report that after the FBI searched his office, classified documents were moved back there in an attempt to hide them.

It reminds me of North Korea. The people are starving, and the leadership spends the money not on food but on weapons to threaten their neighbors. Should the neighbors enable this by providing food to the starving people?
The Taliban made the decision that they would rather their kids starve than let them be fed by a woman who won't cover her head. Should we enable their behavior?
