The URL included the serial number (with 8 million-million-million-million possibilities) plus a 4-digit code (65536 possibilities), but a lot of tech reporting these days is a giant game of telephone so many article did incorrectly say that there were only 65536 possibilities.

Without authentication, as long as you knew the serial number for that specific camera (and the serial numbers are non-sequential 16-digit alphanumeric strings that would take longer than the age of the universe to guess).

The difference in latency caused by the time it takes light to travel to a satellite 500 miles up vs 900 miles up is fractions of a second, and meaningless compared to human reaction time when talking about an emergency response.

You're confusing speed with latency.

It's closer to 2-3 fps for B&W E-Ink.

Depending on the season and your latitude, noontime sun is somewhere in the 5000-5800K range. 4000K is closer to early-morning or late-afternoon sunlight.

All the bill pay services I've used that charge a fee have a percentage for credit card payments and a fixed fee for eCheck.

I would recommend getting a HALO MicroEdge Direct Mount Downlight. It's only half an inch thick, so it will take up barely any room in the cabinet, and it comes with the junction box you'll need to hide that nasty electrical tape splice.

More like Looming than Fata Morgana (the latter would make the buildings appear to be floating or inverted). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looming_and_similar_refraction_phenomena

If you're on a boat, at low tide you'd be able to see 10 more feet of a building in Boston than you can at high tide. If you're on the shore it might be more like 20 feet. In any case, it's a pretty insignificant effect.

Refraction caused by drastically different air and water temperatures can allow seeing objects not usually visible due to the curvature of the earth. For example, from time to time Toronto becomes visible from NY state: http://spacewatchtower.blogspot.com/2018/03/photo-rare-phenomenon-toronto-skyline.html

To see any of the Pru (excluding the antenna) from 51 miles, ignoring refractory stuff, you'd need to be 200ft up. That said, refraction can do some pretty weird things, Famously, when you get the temperature inversions just right, you can see Toronto from NY State.

The Tewksbury Police Department was heavily involved, and would've ended up with 80% of the profit. The forfeiture only failed after Caswell borrowed $100,000 to defend himself and, after that money ran out, the Institute for Justice kicked in another $400,000.
