You can definitely see it. That's going to take some time to get used to. In other new, the new building had a pretty interesting fire. Building materials were set alight by welding activities. The smoke could be seen for miles.

2:30pm - Just got back. Major streets are clear, secondary streets are safe but do have some slush/ice around. Some neighborhood streets are still white all the way across.

As a long time home owner I would never throw something like bricks or blocks away (ok, if I had a huge pile). Instead, I'd put them outside, in a corner, behind the garage or whatnot. You will find uses one day.
