Generally my first choice is to borrow from the library, due to limited space and money. My next choice is to buy second hand (if I can find a copy that's in decent shape) if I think I will reread it. I will buy a new book only if I can't find it elsewhere, or if it's a longer book with an unacceptably short checkout time at the library.

The only one that comes to mind at the moment is To Kill A Mockingbird. I was highly disappointed in Go Set A Watchman by comparison (maybe I'm missing something in my perspective?). I just felt the writing wasn't as good as the first book.

I mostly use the library. I usually raid my husband's or son's stash if I can't get to the library, or if the book is incessantly checked out. I am also considering buying my own copy of Don Quixote, due to the fact that it is only available online and the library only allows you 2 weeks to finish it, and I think I will need 3 or 4 weeks to do so.
