Good point. Much of suffering is self-created, and most of the time, individuals have the ability to transform themselves and the negative thoughts they may have about situations occurring within their life. Depression adds a whole new level of complexity, however.

Ya, it could be seasonal affective disorder. About 10 million Americans suffer from Winter depression from what I've read. It's no joke.
