Yeah I’m no Dane but this direction is bullshit. “Work harder and longer and lose your days off so we can balance the budget for necessary expenditures.” Bullshit indeed.

Yeah. There was a Japanese company who sold some product (like a a snack food item, can’t recall exactly) and they made a commercial apologizing for having to raise the price from like 1.99 to 2.49…they hadn’t raised the price in 30 years. They were genuine about apologizing, entire staff was in the commercial apologizing. Love the pride involved.

Housing should be high on this list. We’ve continually moved in the wrong direction on this versus income, to where now spending 50% of income on rent is somewhat a normal thing. Atrocious.

Reply to comment by Parabola_Cunt in Apis Cor may be America's most advanced 3D printing construction company, yet it is shunned by traditional capital markets; 8 years after being founded, it still relies on crowdfunding websites. by lughnasadh
Agreed. Conventional methods for construction are now streamlined, we haven’t changed course in 100 years. So it’s an uphill climb to invent new ways to rough in mechanical systems with this new type of construction. So investment will shy away until execution can beat current efficiencies. That has to be proven up before money starts to pour in.

If it isn’t reduced to something way way way lower this should be reposted at top of not the onion, and late stage capitalism, and probably a few others. Ridiculous.
