Same thing to us in Bangor. February was over $220 more than January and absolutely nothing changed. I really don't understand it. We've run a space heater in our bedroom overnight and one on a timer upstairs. None of this has changed since like December

In the apartment building next to our house in Bangor, they are doubling the rent for what looks to be, a fucking slum. A few residents have already moved but a few more remain until their lease is up. I can't imagine anywhere costing $1400 a month in fucking Bangor. All the apartments ive seen or lived in were fucking garbage

Definitely be aware that your electric bill will skyrocket if you leave it on. I don't even know what to do besides take the hit as the space heater is pretty much the only heat upstairs.

I got an oil filled one from Mardens for maybe $70 and it works great. That's basically the only heat we have on the top floor.

Our old apt was on my hope and was run by MREM. It was just ok. I didn't have too many problems with them. JNF Properties bought it that last year we were there. We made them walkthrough with us to make sure they didn't try to stuff us on the deposit. They seem much better than MREM but I'm sure they jacked up their prices. No where in Bangor is worth what you'd have to pay. It's ridiculously expensive for this area
