If you believe this, then not only are you not very knowledgeable about world history, but you're also massively overestimating technological progress and societal adoption of new technologies.

Again, that's an opinion, and opinions aren't universally held.
I don't think not believing in 100% automation in the the near future is unreasonable.

Is the link you provided your proof of this statement? I'm asking because the Metaculus community prediction is 18 years (less than two decades) from now so I was just wondering if you based your statement on this prediction or on something else/other things. Or both.
