Yes, the good old days. Sometimes you see someone post something about how good times were back in the day. Don't believe it. I was there. It wasn't any better. And often worse.

I have a very low opinion of a dog thief, but a policeman is supposed to be professionally trained to control his emotions no matter what the perpetrator did. So both are reprehensible in my mind.

My husband worked on his staff as an Ensign in the early 70s while the Viet Nam war was going on. He greatly respected the Admiral who worked hard and didn't want any cushy stuff for himself like chauffeurs and fancy furniture in his office.

That poor dog whose sense of smell far outweighs the human's. I hope someone gives him some of that. Dogs give so much and ask for so little in return.

Reply to Private Interests and the Start of Fluoride-Supplemented High-Carbohydrate Nutritional Guidelines — Internal documents show that private interests motivated the events which led these expert panels to engage in pivotal scientific reversals. by Meatrition
I have always felt that the sugar industry has done a lot of damage to the USA. They fled from Cuba and bought the Everglades for pennies on the dollar and diverted water thus polluting Lake O. They also spent a lot of money on bribes to Republicans to get the government and the army corp of Engineers to assist getting their business going. They paid a lot of bribes to get so called professionals to declare fat as the enemy rather than sugar. Sugar is more highly addictive than cocaine and is a big factor in America's addiction to sweets.
