Hope it's just a matter of time before they get it going better.
I moved to Montreal, and even with the high taxes and the only legal/non-reservation weed shops being government run and owned, I can get an ounce of decent stuff for $100 USD, and they have multiple delivery options including by Canada Post, same day via a 3rd party courier, and are now rolling out 2 hour delivery too.

That's nice to hear about Newark, but your boss sounds like an idiot.

Only in liquor stores, you can search Google maps.
If you're anywhere around a Joe Canal's or Total Wine & More they are worth a trip as their selection is unmatched.

Does the Costco in Bridgewater also have alcohol? I know the one in Edison does, and believe the law about only 2 locations of a major chain store being allowed to sell liquor in NJ is still active.

I think anything would be an improvement over the current Terminal A.
Terminal C isn't too shabby now, just still a PITA with the choke points at the security exits.

Not sure why you are being downvoted, as this is a huge move for OP and not worth it unless the pay is good, presuming OP didn't already want to move to the US for some reason.

Do you and your wife have a driver's license and will you have a car in NJ? The answer to this will heavily dictate where you should live since a lot of central and southern NJ is suburban with public transit more geared towards serving commuters going to NYC and not generally setup well for trips around town.
For working in Rahway, recommend taking a look at the surrounding towns that are a bit nicer like Metuchen, Edison, Highland Park, Cranford, and Westfield. Really depends on what your salary and monthly expenses are.
Zillow.com is a decent resource for house hunting (both rentals and sales) and they give some estimates for taxes and other fees as well.

I used to have to get this done annually for a previous job. Google places that do a Fitness for Duty exam.
