They budget out for shrink. Most profitable stores have a decent budget for losses. If they want to replace them, it comes out of that budget.
I'm not openly condoning, relieving Home Depot of their overpriced and fisherprice quality tools. I'm only saying that if someone whisked away all the power tools from every home depot, I wouldn't lose any sleep.

Yeah I was going to say "maybe it doesn't react to dot 3 break fluid, or etch like chemicals."
That dot 3 leaves a ghost when you add it to the ink mix that eats regular water based paints. Etch would get in good with glass.
