You might ask your therapist about IOP, partial hospitalization, or PROS programs. These are programs for people in crisis who do not need to be inpatient. It's a ton of group therapy. Honestly the best part is finding other people who can relate to you, having people to talk to. If not something like that then maybe like see if there's one therapy group you could join, maybe online, your therapist might have suggestions. <3

Yes, I'm not a parent but like, if you punish kids who act out or act up by taking away their break, their chance to utilize their energy, their time to be social, you're just going to keep getting "bad" behavior. And I feel like we should all know that kids get punished for all sorts of reason. Y'all assuming these are just violent or disrespectful kids maybe went to really good schools where you didn't get in trouble for any little thing 🤷‍♀️ I sure didn't.

I'm from various parts of NYC and NY state and Seattle, and I live outside New Haven now. I don't really think there is such a thing as a blue state. It's kind of arbitrary. Usually the densest parts of the state are voting for Dems so the state taken as a whole looks "blue" but lots of individual districts voted Republican. It's all about the town and the neighborhood. Having only just moved to CT I don't know how most of the state is. Fwiw my neighbors have said hi to me and introduced themselves. People started saying hi to us when we were still looking at the place with the realtor. So you never know. Good luck with the move!

There are a bunch of knitting groups around. If you search in this sub for knitting you'll see. I'm starting one that meets tomorrow in Hamden at the library but there are others in NH proper. DM me if you're interested in mine, it's queer-oriented but anyone is welcome as long as we keep it a safe space for everybody.

Yes, I have been looking on taskrabbit too, I've used it before for stuff. I just wanted to cast a wider net because it's hard to find people available on new years eve weekend. I actually think I've got someone now but I'll keep this post up for now.

Not for free. And not for less than a uhaul necessarily. And like, people do this kind of thing off Craigslist or with taskrabbit and get a review or a reference, it's not something I totally need but it's a plus. I'm looking for someone to deliver a large package a short distance. I can help with loading and unloading just can't do it alone. I don't know why you're so upset about it. You could just scroll by instead of trying to start shit. You don't know my situation and like you said you don't know the details.
