it’ll be blatantly obvious. they love to mark their properties & will tell you along the way and even on the fb posts they have their name up. at worst, you’ll see it on any documents they try to send your way. they manage all types of properties from solo houses to apartment complexes.

4 bedroom house over here, our average is $500, it’s a bigger place so I get it’s more, but that’s still really ridiculous. especially factoring in that we keep the thermostat below 70 all of the time.

I typically park at the west haven station. always preferred as there’s less people/usage of that station compared to union station

Edgewood park is a hidden gem. It has a small hiking trail hidden in the trees that most people don’t use. Highly recommended if you don’t want to go for a hike longer than an hour.

well, here’s a list of things we’ve requested to be taking care of,

—leaking radiator in the kitchen —leaking water pipes (2) in the basement —broken shelf in kitchen cabinet —vomit inducing smells coming from bathroom pipes (tub/sink/toilet) —mice infestation

& here’s what’s been taken care off

—leaking radiator in the kitchen (partially, as now instead of having a massive puddle in the kitchen, it’s only a small one now) —leaking water pipes (2) in the basement (jk. only one got fixed. the other one still has a whole that leaks water at 150°) —broken shelf in kitchen cabinet —they’ve said “let us know if it smells again” & left the smell as is. we’re good now bc what ever died is frozen, but once it gets warmer we all know what’s coming. —mice are still here. (we catch and release as many as we can. but they’re sneaky)

they’re really good at calling us & telling us we‘we falling behind on property upkeep but can’t fix a leaking pipe.

if you’re ok with it then you’re ok with it, just be ready to lose your security deposit over nothing.

even if you get a ticket, as long as the car isn’t registered at the school they can’t actually fine you. the police on campus are …. compass police. parking tickets go to student account &, if you don’t have one, well…. can charge you then 😅😅

no one IDs when you enter SCSU’s library. they close at 11 I believe. the library is massive & has a lot of little nooks most students don’t occupy at night

the Green next to yale currently has a really pretty christmas tree, make sure to take pictures there. take a nice walk at long wharf & get food from food trucks! you’ll find plenty to do in one day

DONT RENT FROM MANDY MANAGEMENT!! I should have head the warning but I didn’t. i’m currently living in one of their properties & in scared for whatever they’re going to do to me when I move out.

I recommend finding a place near the Edgewood Park. On the Edgewood street side. Closer to Chapel which has a few museums down the road and it’ll lead right in to down town for all the other things you’re looking for. pricing is decent, the area is…… not the safest, but you learn to ignore the monthly shooting.
