Because it’s a story with an impossible choice. It’s a interesting premise is all.

I’ve been an atheist all my life and didn’t get your same reaction. It’s a simple thriller is all. I guess you can see anything if you look hard enough but that obviously wasn’t the intention by the cast and filmmaker. It’s really about would you sacrifice to save the world.

I’m blown away! Wow! Watched it last night on a whim and had no idea where it was going and then the end happened. I was speechless and started to replay the movie in my head. After watching it a second time this is a straight up masterpiece. What a amazing debut!

And he followed that up with Beautiful Girls which I think is vastly underrated. It’s a great script.

It was always a amateurish film. Never got the appeal and the documentary on the director was way more interesting.

Gravity and Life of Pi. My Bloody Valentine in 3D is fun also.

Top Gun Maverick. Only movie specifically made for the theater experience. Until Avatar 2 drops.
Also enjoyed Smile, Terrifier 2, X and Pearl.

Can you give examples OP? Which movies?

I’ve seen it at least 4-5 times. It’s more than just the twist. You actually care about all the characters and hope they all find some peace. The Mother and Son scene in the car is so damn emotional.

A lot of them take backend deals now. Cameron Diaz made 30-40M on Bad Teacher. Tom Cruise will make 100M for TG:M.

It’s your opinion and it didn’t work for you. I had zero issues and found the whole movie compelling. It just didn’t work for you and that’s cool.

See Deadstream immediately. That’s Evil Dead 2 influenced. It’s so much fun.

Yes, and her mother said I know your secrets and it’s obvious that she has been this way for a long time, killing animals and such. She was born that way.

Why does that need to be explained? Shes obviously repressed and has been killing animals and typically that’s how serial killers start. I don’t need a explanation why she’s sexual, she was born that way. She being repressed and held down. She feels she is a star and is delusional. What more did you need?

The audition is not why she is a serial killer.
