The video doesn't load, but animal in the photo looks like a mink. A mink fiddling around with a garter snake that was run over.

Everyone says that fishers make a screaming noise, but whenever I've laid eys on a fisher in the woods, it's been quiet. Foxes on the other hand make a screaming sound. We had one that denned up in the back of our property in past years, and I've seen it making that racket a number of times.

RI Sawmill off Hammet Rd in Coventry. Dimensional lumber. I've gotten Black Walnut from him for posts, also Black Locust.

You can check the well pump by opening its breaker and watching the pressure gauge to see how long it take pressure to draw down with no faucets on. Toilet and faucet leaks could be a cause - faucets will be obvious, and toilets can be isolated by turning off their water supply valves and watching the tanks.

Eastern CT Solar in North Stonington, CT. He installed my system 6 1/2 years ago. A panel started to go bad this past fall, and he worked with the manufacturer to troubleshoot and replace the panel. An excellent small business.

Newport Solar is also good.

It's going to be raining this Friday and Saturday. Following up on the plant theme, and since you have a car, check out Logee's nursery in Danielson, CT. It's another expansive fragrant warm place that is wonderful on miserable winter days. It's good for an hour or so, and it's hard to resist buying one or more of the the plants they sell.

I was in the OE program from 81-84. Those buildings were a mess 40 years ago. My understanding is that grants for research will pay for part of staff salaries and equipment. Tuition may pay for part of salaries, supplies, and equipment.

Buildings and major infrastructure improvements come from sources like this bond. The dock for the research vessel that replaces the Endeavor was paid for by previous state bond money. With the new pier in place, the federal government brings the new ship to the Bay campus, rather than to other locations like Woods Hole.

The bar in the north wing by gates 17-21 at TF Green. I take a double shot of vodka.

Why is it the best? It means I'm headed somewhere fun!

Google Frosty Drew Observatory - it's down at Ninigret. Ninigret is also dark at night, so it'd be good if you want to be on your own. It looks like they have an event coming up Friday night. Also, the Seagrave observatory in North scituate has an event on Saturday night.

Garage C is around the same price. I parked there once with a co-worker driving a toyota 4x4 during a winter trip when it snowed. He had to climb out of the parking space and momentarily high-centered on a frozen ice ridge when we returned.
