The City of Pittsburgh, the Sports and Exhibition Authority, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the state all say that they don’t have jurisdiction over the matter.

The only agency assisting is the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

I am so confused on why none of them have jurisdiction or none of them are working together into solving the problem that desperately needs addressed!?

KDKA stated “The commission confirmed the owner has been contacted but is unwilling or unable to remove it.” Is the spent going to face any responsibility or pay any fees or will it just be a wash and the taxpayers have to pay

I am gay and still looking for a partner (lol) but I have attached a few links to various lgbt activities that occur in the city that are great ways to make friends and even future partners. I am unsure what your sexuality but I am sure some of these may be helpful

The queer community in Pgh is small and cliquey and everyone seems to know everyone which makes it feel like a tight knit community but also hard to fine a partner lol

I do know Qburgh post a lot of various events in the city so you’re right with checking them out!

And of course there are a handful of bars too if that’s your scene!

Contact Maximus they’re the independent enrollment broker for PA dept of aging. Tell them you want to get your parents signed up for the waiver program through managed care organizations they’ll know what you mean or at least get you in the right direction.

PA Independent Enrollment Broker

I’m assuming your parents already have Medicare. The IEB will help them get set up with long term services and support through home and community based services through Medicaid

Both your parents should be eligible for services through managed care all free through their Medicaid insurance.

They will receive caregivers, home delivered meals, non-medical transportion, durable medical equipment, potentially home modification, life alert buttons, and more.

This is what I do for work please feel free to message me

Jellyfish plays a lot of house music at different venues each month. Hot Mass is probably the closest thing you’re looking for. I would also check to see events happening at Spirit. Pre-pandemic there used to be different pop-up music scenes in the city at random warehouses but I’m unsure if that’s still a thing.
