Many of the drivers in this state are petty, egotistical, and passive aggressive. These drivers are usually the problem on the road, making it more dangerous for everyone else; meanwhile most other drivers are fine.

Regardless of what you may think of either Trump or Biden, who in their right mind makes a something like this? Who has the time to do this and then puts their energy into something like this? I despise both of them and I know many who don’t like Biden or Trump or either of them, and no one is making some display like this. That’s just really crazy.

Drivers on 91 and all throughout CT suck. All I can say, is everyone needs to really be alert, pay attention, use their mirrors, and expect any of the other drivers to act like idiots. Be prepared and alert for anything, because drivers nowadays (esp on the highways) are terrible.

I agree with this completely. If you are driving slow on the highway, that is absolutely fine, I have absolutely no problem with that, just don’t hog the left lane and refuse to move over. I travel in the middle lane, and it’s dangerous when other drivers have to merge into the lane I’m in to pass a slow car, when they could pass in the passing lane if the slow car would move over. Also dangerous when the slow car tries to pace right next to me or is constantly just off to my side in my blind spot and not ever passing me.

They’re both very nice towns. I find people in Madison are a bit more snobby but overall you can’t go wrong with either.

Luckily it’s just Friday-Saturday, but yikes, that is just brutal!

Middletown is fine. There’s a few areas in the North End that can be a bit iffy, but overall it’s a great city and safe.

We have 4 Dunkin in our town. I wonder which town has the most. It’s crazy how common they are here.

Saw someone do that in Fairfield yesterday. Was swerving across two lanes brake checking constantly and trying to get people to hit him. Absolutely insane.

This happens here constantly. I’ll be behind a slow driver who’s going under the speed limit and tapping the brakes and I’ll have someone tailgating me so if I have to stop short because the slow driver hits the brakes, the person behind me is so close, they could hit me. It’s ridiculous. Tailgating me won’t do anything, I’m in the same situation as they are, stuck behind a slow driver.

Clearly whoever came up with that has never driven on any of the highways and roads in CT. CT drivers are pretty awful consistently.

Same in Danbury. Just the other day, I went from New Milford to Ridgefield, about a 30 min trip, and the amount of road rage, insane drivers, and near accidents I witnessed was insane. It’s always bad everyday, but that was the worst I’ve seen yet.

I never see state police on the highways anymore. One of the few times I did, someone was going 90, weaving in and out of traffic, went right past the cop and nothing. The cop didn’t pull them over.

Yep. It’s really bad when the lights are out at an intersection too. That happened in New Milford last week and the main intersection was a total mess. Saw many close calls and near accidents. No one knows how to drive competently.

Hartford drivers are insane. I’ve seen some really crazy stuff on the roads there in the past year.

84 is a complete mess with horrible drivers daily. I try to avoid it whenever possible.

Left lane hogs are the worst in CT.
