Fair point, I suppose. He does always have a talent for saying nonsense with a straight face though, so I'd say it's a bit of both in my case.

As someone with autism, it is pretty apt. I used to get tricked by my brother all of the time simply because he sounded honest to me when he would say some outlandish nonsense. He always told me the truth when he saw that I actually believed it though, so it was just funny.

Mate, children already have predispositions towards certain toys from a very early age. This is a solution to a non-existent problem.

I feel like being nervous about the potential abuses that could come with such technology is just as warranted here as it is for, as an example, more advanced AI's, regardless of whether someone is religious or not. That being said, this isn't an abuse and thus isn't really a problem.
