Hopefully they will be bred to make more radiated tortoises. Releasing three into the wild isn't going to solve their endangerment; you have to have a robust breeding program and also address the conditions that made them endangered in the first place which in this case sounds like poaching.

I'd argue the origin of the name points to scratches also being dangerous. Bites are definitely more dangerous but I'd say better safe than sorry in general. If my cat draws blood with her claws I put a bit of rubbing alcohol on it after washing, to be safe.
Definitely not trying to argue that bites aren't worse though!

Yeah you are (or you can). There's even a name for the resultant illness - cat scratch fever.

You just totally ignored the entire main point of my comment, like didn't touch on it even a little bit, so yeah, definitely getting silly

That's fair but your earlier comment was "you don't understand how much a million is", not "you should be more altruistic".
People know it's a lot of money.
Also, assuming one went through with that - and you're imo overestimating the courage and selflessness of humans, plus I disagree with your assertion that they're bad people if they don't literally die in this scenario, but I digress - IF you went through with that you'd have to have all the legal stuff set up first to make sure the money went where you want it, not just got taken away because "well you're dead now, that sucks".

Okay, how cute are they. Look at the tiny shell and the tiny claws!
Hopefully they'll also all grow into parent tortoises one day.
