"he tore the goddam sail again".

couple of the songs were fairly interesting (for the time)

the COPS that don't do anything and are scared of everything

the "pink panther" parodied "inspector" lol

it's an 80's cheese classic

as dysfunctional as they are? The family in "This is where I leave You" seems like an actual healthy family relationship. They give each other hell but it's a healthy hell they're not being spiteful or hateful even with all the differences.

decided to try and watch the korean TIDAL WAVE

oh man the dubbed version was silly as hell and the movie just went on and on and on and on with no tidal wav

until the very last few minutes

really thought it was gonna be a cool disaster flick

nope it wasn't

Dantes PEAK on the other hand that paraclastic cloud looked so BAD ASS

2012 had some amaazing disaster effects and fantastic scenes but the movie itself was full of cringes including DR Crybaby

but for just a disaster aspect it was dam cool really dug the scene when they take off from the airport and flying thru the earthquake and buildings are falling apaprt and peeps inside the building are falling to their dooms

Twister is a cult classic

VOLCANO as laughable as it was was sill a hell of an enjoyable film

a volcano in LA ? yes please

as cheesy and bad, with the we have nothing adn we're so poor , but we still can afford to pay for a nanny ...13 ghosts. The lore they came up with and the back stories for all 13 ghosts was awesome. The disc has extras that have the background on them, and the ghosts looked awesome. personal favorite was the angry princess at the time, when it came out.

the KID is so freaking annoying but dam the ghosts make up for it.

I remember sitting in a theater with my brother watching "The Day After Tomorrow" and him making this great joke at "americans crossing the border into mexico", the bad CGI wolves and everything its still a fun as hell entertaining movie and the scenes of the tornadoes in LA was really cool.

I actually enjoyed the original but I would make a suggestion don't watch it when you're on the verge of falling asleep.

there's certainly a lot of differences between the two, the first is way more like dawn of the dead as far as the military coming in and setting up shop

a HUGE title saying codename trixie

which i'm glad the remake even bothered to mention

I'd say the original is more about the infected people losing their shit than acting like violent psychopathic zombies

being a big fan of the original dawn of the dead I enjoyed seeing some people I recignizes like the news reporter with the eye patch

the movie is totally Romero

watched the remake last night again , its been awhile and DAM radha mitchell just absolutely killed it.

I actually prefer the "Donner Cut" of superman 2 regardless of the re used ending. The intention was to always use the world spinning backwards for the 2nd movie.

I much prefer him getting rid of nukes into space causing the zone to crack and break rather than the entirely NEW PARIS intro with the terrorists they came up

I always hated the cheesy oops I tripped and feel and my glasses fell off, for losi finding out he was superman to the AWESOME and SMART way they did it for the donner cut.

there is no plastic wrap superman logo silliness in the donner cut lol

Luthor wasn't full familiar with all the crystals and the machine or how it worked so in that regard it wasn't exactly hard to use it to his advtantage since he had all kinds of time to prepare before they found his fortress lol

As much as I'm not really a fan of the 2nd die hard sequel, when all the planes, including the one Hollies on figure out they can use the flames as landing lights. That music hits, McClane is laughing and plane after plane starts coming in for a landing.

The Martian when everyone goes APE SHIT, that they actually caught him and brought him aboard it totally gets you in the "feels".

I mean C"mon being close to the holidays...When Ralphie's dad is giggling with excitement after telling ralphie, hey what's that over there. His dad is literally like a little kid all giddy as hell as ralphie starts unwrapping the gift. His dad's excitement when he asks if he knows how to load it. Gavin just kills it in that scene.

I'll give credit to the original "The Santa Clause", when they rescue scott and start gearing him up and that ZZ top music kicks in the feels start...but the climax when the huge crowd around the house with all the kids and everyone is in complete AWE with santa and the flying sleigh and reindeer and everyone can't believe their eyes, with the added little bonus, of when they show some of the kids, smiling quite a few of them are elves.

IT FOLLOWS

one of those strange movies, that things click more on repeated viewings, those blink and you'll miss it stuff. The movie since its so open to interpretation, raises more questions that another view might answer.

one movie for a FACT takes multiple views to fully appreciate? "City of The Living Dead". Honestly didn't like it on a first viewing. Many years later when I started getting into Fulci's films and bought Zombie 2 i revisited it again and it grew on me with repeated viewings.

Now I fully appreciate the unintentional and unintended humor in it.

Again I had started to get into Roger Corman flicks and was going thru the catalogue it literally took a few viewings to fully appreciate how good, the people he hired did for films like Piranha 78, Humanoids From The Deep, and even the hilarious mutant of Forbidden World (once you get past that boring opening space battle).

I think his best scenes in hobbs and Shaw were with his female co star. Like when she's trying really hard to kick his ass and lol he's just makin her look like a rag doll

I hope they make a sequel I want to know who the fuck was running that organization, since whoever said it was gonna be a hell of a reunion and they knew hobbs and shaw previously.

I doubt it was Cipher

I actually enjoyed the hobbs from Hobbs and Shaw (more) cause it had way more humor, and at times it really seemed like him and and jason were having fun hamming it up.

Movie was dam decent until they got to the dam island.

one night i'm flippin thru channels nothing on, and run across "The Tooth Fairy". okay yeah its a made for kids movie, but the sheer fact of making a foll of himself (the character) was fun to watch. As cheesy and corny as it was i got a few laughs out of it. You have to give Dwayne Johnson credit he DOES have great comedic timing (when it works) and most of the time its something small he ad libbed or improvised.

that Zombie movie with Adam Driver and Bill Murray The Dead Don't Die completely billed as some kind of hilarious zombie comedy

Movie was nothing like what people expected, it even broke the 4th wall at least if you had no spoilers about it

IMO it was a really boring, slow, DRAMA, where any jokes or laughs fell flat and it felt more like an experimental film. the trailer even had a tagline about the great zombie movie cast

I was actually hyped for it based on the trailer but the movie was nothing like the trailer
