I went once as inpatient after a suicide attempt.
The staff was great for the most part. Very compassionate outside of one. At the time I was 26, she couldn't have been older than 35. She literally spoke to me like I was a baby all the time, even after I told her multiple times "I am a fully grown adult here for help. Not a toddler, not special needs, just a human being. Please speak to me like one". She just said I was being rude and disrespectful.
That was my only negative experience, but it's something mental healthcare professionals working with adults REALLY need to keep in mind. We're already ashamed, probably very embarrassed and not at our best. It is absolutely dehumanizing to have someone who is a peer in any other circumstance talk to you like you're a 3rd grader.
Can't say enough great things about the psychiatrist and nurses who handled my day-to-day care. They really went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed if anything arose and treated me and others on the unit with a lot of compassion and respect.

Sweet spot in Exeter.
It's a little out of the way for most cause Exeter is....well Exeter, but it's a nice little spot tucked away from the road. My roommate has gone there several times since it opened and had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and selection on offer.
They're trying to establish themselves so they're handing out 20% discounts on orders like it's candy (I've been told).

Have fun supporting a church that directly goes against Jesus' teaching.
I'm sure he'd really love the horde of wealth the Vatican has amassed, it's really such a nice Christian value to hoard wealth for generations and protect rapists! Such a lovely tribute to god!

Get the fuck outta here with that. Anyone who really knows RI knows corruption is rampant and one of the only bipartisan things in our politics.

This is what happens when the system is working as intended.
Hospitals exist to generate profit for shareholders. This woman would not be profitable to continue to treat, so kick her out and call the cops. The cops exist to protect and serve capital interests, not human lives and safety.
Nothing will change, this is exactly how everything is intended to work. It's really depressing, and I wish I knew how to help change it within our system but I really don't see that as being a reality. It's becoming increasingly harder for people to cope with this (myself included).
