Incredible how many downvotes you’re getting. As if these kids deserved for their lives to be extinguished because they made bad decisions. So many are killed accidentally, or pushed as you said. In many parts of Europe, Asia, all the trains and platforms have built-in safety measures. It’s absurd NYC still doesn’t. If only people would stop turnstile hopping (sarcasm)

It’s grotesque.. just vile people feel comfortable saying those things, let alone thinking they’re clever. Such glibness, and like you said, it reeks of classism..

It’s awesome you’re actively speaking out and trying to better inform people. Only way to possibly create a better future .. for all, not just the powerful

Thanks, this is the gist of what I was going to say. We actively destabilize countries then act surprised when people immigrate here from the areas we’ve fucked. It’s a vicious, never ending cycle. Not hard to see once you put in the time analyzing it and studying migration patterns in relation to US foreign policy

Same, once in an infested building (I moved), and once when a friend brought one in via a book (was resolved, thankfully). I’m always paranoid. And I will now always check hotel beds/mattresses before I unpack! Nightmare.

Husband got COVID last December (2021).. has had a severe and refractory headache 24/7 ever since… he was healthy and “normal” before all this. It’s turned our lives upside down. Nothing helps so far. Meanwhile I’m fine.. it’s all so shit and random
