Calling a disfunctional nobles' oligarchy a "democracy" is a helluva take. It actually led to more and more inequality and there was literal slavery of the noble class over peasants ("paĆszczyzna"). They OWNED them and had the right of life or death over them.

There's a lot of latent xenophobia. I grew up as one of the few kids in Poland with an obviously Jewish name and it was all kinds of awful, especially coming from a few teachers. Although younger generations are way better.

Oh my sweet summer child. You should look at current events and political tensions in basically any country in either of the Americas and the Caribbean, and many of the countries beyond.

Because the USA was built by genocide and slavery and what it is now is their direct descendant. You can't understand much about it in any kind of precise way without factoring in race.
It's like measuring something about the British Isles and lumping together the statistics for England and Ireland. Or talking about austerity in the EU without factoring in the difference in its effects on the southern Europe vs central and northern. It will miss the picture.

This obviously includes all employees, including Amazon warehouse and delivery workers. Some companies have mostly tech employees. As it is it's not a very useful metric.

Why the downvotes? Guiver5000 is correct, Europe needs its nuclear energy capacity in order to be significantly more independent of gas imports in the short term. Germany closing down fission stations and using gas instead is indefensible.

"Luddite" is not the insult you think it is.
They were a movement of qualified textile workers who were opposed to getting automated away with machines. Factory bosses got many of them killed for protesting.
It's actually an excellent comparison.

50 million sounds low for that, unless they're just doing R&D and no production.
