there's also a sequel to spinal tap that came out in 1992(thereturn of spinal tap) and another one that's coming out in 2024(spinal tap 2).
edit- i do agree with your division of the films, re: which are great vs. which are meh.

don't expect much...it's very poorly written.

the thing that bugged me was that julia louis drefuss' character may have been obnoxious- but it wasn't on purpose. eddie murphy's character was purposely being a racist asshole- he deserved the dressing down he got at the ultimately cancelled wedding by the groom, but her character really didn't deserve the same type of vitriol. i'm not saying she was in the right, just that her "transgressions" weren't on purpose, and she was actually trying to be nice. eddie murphy wasn't.

but- the pun doesn't work anymore, because rivets are no longer used.
and- a pun that doesn't work isn't funny...just stupid.

not a lot of rivets being used in steel frame construction anymore- it's all bolts.

i know i wouldn't.
i like complete privacy in an appliance, and for them to keep their opinions to themselves.

it was part of a trilogy of albums with fripp's exposure(one of my favorite tripping albums), and peter gabriel's second solo album, scratch.

my feet came of age in the 1970's- long before there was an internet for buying shoes. living in sub-urban chicago, there were a few "king-size" type stores with pricey but butt-ugly shoes to choose from.
i mostly wore chuck taylor all-stars all-thru high school.

having size 18 feet means never having gotten to appreciate rental shoes, skates, and ski boots.
