Imo it’s Lynch’s magnum opus and the culmination of everything he’s done

Voodoo and Black Messiah are fucking phenomenal albums! Glad that his song for RDR2 got so many people to check out his music. He deserves more recognition imo

Check out Green Room (2015) it’s a gripping thriller from a great director, and, best of all, it’s only 95 minutes!

They’re realtors AND they’re women. This summer, get ready to laugh your pussy off, when these two childhood friends move back to their hometown and fight over a rich, handsome client. Prepare yourself for 2 hours of farts and jokes about their vaginas. “Get Real” starring Melissa McCarthy and Amy Schumer, in theaters July 17.

No need to be sorry, you were in the right! And you’ve convinced me that I need to do a rewatch lol I call myself a movie fan and I didn’t even remember the end of freaking Taxi Driver!😂

I’m not going to delete my previous comment because people deserve to see how fucking stupid I was. I had the Mandala Effect or something because I didn’t remember that final scene with Betsy in the cab, and I misremembered the shootout as the final scene. Sorry for my overly confident stupidity.

I would not say Taxi Driver has a happy ending. And saying that Travis “gets the girl” is pretty gross considering you’re talking about a 12 year old.

Dude NSFW means “Not Safe For Work”. That tag is there so you don’t accidentally click on a post with explicit content AT WORK, or in public in general. I’d say the giant wooden cock in this photo WARRANTS the tag, you dense motherfucker.

I got the impression that this movie doesn’t really know what it is. It wants to say something, like Look Whose Coming To Dinner, but is filled with really broad, goofy comedy that belongs in a Zucker Brothers movie. It has a lot of talented artists attached to it, both behind the camera and in front, but I can’t help feeling that it could’ve been better if they would have stuck with one tone.

No no no, you misunderstand. Movies don’t have themes or subtext. Maybe you’re watching movies wrong? You’re supposed to stare at the screen for 2 hours with your mouth agape, drooling. You’re not supposed to think, nerd!

Funny Games (1997) if you don’t mind subtitles. The remake is okay but not nearly as good as the original.

Totally agree. Mulholland Dr is his best film for sure. Maybe I’m a little biased because I’m a sucker for Naomi Watts
