Point taken. But look, as long as this guy's pissed, I'm happy.

We have an acquaintance whose family owns a minor league team. Rich fucking cockbags doesn't even begin to describe them. They were so fervently against unioninize because they knew they'd have to — you know — fucking pay people.
Happy for the players, but almost as happy these shitheels didn't get their way. Pay up, you cheap fucks.

If they didn't they wouldn't be as fun. They'd have to play by league rules. No fans catching fouls for an out...no sprinting to second on a walk while every player touches the ball....

Not OP but I was diagnosed as an adult but had all the signs since forever but got by in school but really struggled. I soooo wish I’d had the chance to properly learn clearly and not constantly feel like I’m behind while also not being a fucking wreck of lingering anxiety and social isolation.
Even if you decide to just start with therapy please consider it.

I've got all sorts of accounts with them and have had them for a decade plus. Great service, free ATMs. Can't be beat.

As least these are wide enough to allow a wheelchair to pass through even if only one door is open.

Bold claim. Last time I was in Paris, many of the subways still had manually operated doors and required a passenger to flick it up to open and they seems to get stuck most of the time.

Then you pay up an extra $120,000 ONCE to fund the infrastructure and schools that educated your employees and allowed them to get to work, and that allowed you to be successful. Assuming you owned the place for even just 20 years, $6k/year is a fucking steal.
You're not screwed out of anything, you're paying back a very small portion of what you earned not just on this sale, but the decades of ongoing revenue you business provide you.

Still, only 1% of households make over a million. Either simping for the wealthy or a poor understanding of tax brackets.

More surprised about question 1. Lots of temporarily embarrassed millionaires, I guess.

I have an acquaintance who works in the cruise industry and he's planning Mississippi river cruises and you wouldn't believe the red tape that goes into it because of the Jones Act. Primarily, getting a passenger vessel built in the US in 2022 is no easy feat. Plus having to crew it with ALL navigational crew being domestic AND the vast majority of support crew being from the States has been a huge headache.

Ok, better, but damn. That's fancy hotel pricing right there. You could eat like a king at The Friendly Toast for $80.
