Ah, yes, let the state, who can't keep the trains running, or not have massive Statie fraud problems, make the same regulations for every city and town, whether it's Pittsfield or Boston.

Where oh where could that go wrong?

Maybe we could go full on Russian concrete monstrosities from the harbor to the western state line. That'd solve the housing problem easy right? Ooh, maybe have the state own alllll the land, that'd work right? I mean, with your idea, fuck what the owner of the land they bought wants right?

The STATE knows all and will provide all /s

Ah, the sweet downvotes of the butthurt.... 🙄

Just wait until all the Woburn residents are carrying on about the override that'll need to happen in a couple of years....

He's an ass, they're overreaching.

He'll lose next time around, and soon the Woburn library, senior center, and rec department will get some big cuts to give the teachers whatever money they want.

Except for the students who aren't learning, the parents whose lives are being twisted around, and whatever other departments Woburn will cut to pay the hijacker..... the teachers.

Sure, everyone definitely seems to be winning....

Oh, has anyone seen that "rising tide" anywhere too?

In the winter it's definitely not a bad thing. Because then your heating plant is doing two for one.

And in the summer that's the only reason it uses oil, and, depending on how hot you take your shower (or how hot you set the water heater at), it's only every couple of days for just a bit.

Now, having oil heat and electric water heater at the same time. That's stupid.

2.63.... yeah, considering I just saw a news item saying it's going up to 6.25 or something along those lines in 2023, the rest of your post isn't even worth it to read. But, keep believing that I should be paying, instead of the workers walking away when they’re treated like crap. Or instead of the idiot owners are supposed to do, include the price of the prep in the food.... likes been done for 100 upon 100 of years...l

But, kitchen staff are staff right? Not tipped staff. Hence they don't get the lower wage to begin with. So, somehow it's my fault that the owner's a miserly asshole now?

Lord, this is why I don't eat out often. I'm more than up for tipping, but every single person these days seems to think they deserve to be tipped, whether they're making 15, 20, or more an hour, whether they're the owner even, or whether they're actually getting the tipped wage (6 whatever it is in the new year).

And, it's even more annoying because I too get paid shit, but it is literally illegal for me to get tipped. So, yeah, fuck the bait and switch taxes. Because that what it is an owner instituted tax.

At this point in the world, realtors and car salesmen are more transparent than the restaurant business 🙄

Now we're expected to tip those who aren't working for the tipped wage. God.

Tomorrow? So, find a boat going to Europe. You're then gonna want to make your way across Eurasia, cross the pacific, then, take California to Western MA.

You'll definitely get there faster than if you go anywhere west tomorrow.
