Reply to Where's the best place for a solo woman to watch the Superbowl around Broad Street? by latenightsnack1
If you just want a quiet place to watch, I always suggest hotel bars. There are a few on Broad Street between City Hall and South Philly.

Where do you see 29 affordable units? I only see 29 transit-accessible units mentioned

Reply to This sounds crazy but as of yesterday, we are less than 5 months away from the PA primary and the winner of the mayoral race will be the 100th mayor of the city of Philadelphia. November is an afterthought. The more candidates that run, the winner may snag it with just a one percent difference. by joeltheprocess76
We have 1M registered voters - turnout on that primary will be maybe 30%, which will be split among 8-10 Candidates - the top winner may only get 20% of that 30% so - about 60,000 votes needed to be Mayor of a 1.5M population city

This is the most realest and direct and important thing that any parent would do well to internalize regarding school choice in Philadelphia.
