in return, a proper metro would have the highest potential ridership of 125000 and it would be able to go in the Broad Street Line tunnel, making it a one seat ride to center city and south philly

How about the Lenni Lenape language to honor the original inhabitants?

Not only the trolleys, but the NHSL eventually needs this down the line (even if the NHSL gets them last)

Agreed. If one wants an all you can eat buffet, Shady Maple is pretty high quality by buffet standards

Since it's next to a metro line, they really need to upzone and increase the building height limit in South Philly. 29 affordable housing units is a good start, but they could easily add another ten or twenty units in that lot if the building height limit was higher

If that's the case, the city housing authority should buy excess units from the landlord and lease the surplus units as low income apartments. Having the wealthy tenants who run the city businesses live next to lower income tenants that are affected by their policies might help the wealthier tenants build some empathy

Reply to anyone know what the longest bus ride is? in terms of time it takes from start to finish, not length by sandwichpepe
Bus 93 from Pottstown to Norristown Is a good 90 minutes and physical length wise is pretty long, however the ride goes by relatively fast because it mostly goes in a straight line only detouring to stop at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and Limerick Outlets and is only "slow" when going through Norristown and Pottstown. It runs once an hour seven days a week between 7 AM and 10 PM

Same here. I love how it's nice and walkable in the downtown part of Ambler. I just wish Upper Dublin township and the other townships in the area surrounding Ambler were built or could be redeveloped to be denser and more walkable while still having lots of greenery since the lack of walkability in the surrounding area of Upper Dublin is making me want to move to another part of Montco that's more walkable

Can't go wrong with going to Chinatown and picking a random restaurant. It's also near Reading Terminal Market for getting dessert afterwards

Exactly. Although Manayunk is one of the few parts of Philly that would benefit from a Funicular similar to Pittsburgh or an aerial tram that connects to Lower Merion township

Two Questions. How far is it from the NJTransit station since Transit Oriented Development is pretty popular right now? Two: How are they gonna prepare for more frequent hurricanes and storm surges that go this far north in the next few decades?

even light rail wouldn't be good enough because it wouldn't be able to go into the BSL tunnel and one would need a transfer at Broad Street. I do know people are pushing for a metro because it would have the highest potential ridership
