Yeah I'm sure. I've just never heard anyone reference it as a neighborhood.

FYI, city centre is not the term anyone in DC uses (although most will probably understand what you mean). Downtown is really the best word for the general area. More specifically people typically say the neighborhood, so for you telling people you're staying in Penn Quarter.

Does anyone know if the Blossom train is going to be on any other lines besides the Red? Whenever I've checked the tracker that's where it is.

If this was an "attack" then she also attacked the families of Sandy Hook victims.
This is good, people like her should not be welcome in polite society.

If you're not gonna need it at all you can check out the parking lots near metro in Nova and Maryland.

Reply to Is it possible to visit all of the Smithsonian museums in a limited time frame? by LeoTheBirb
You could hit all the ones on the national Mall in a week, but unless you're gonna blow through them it would probably take up all of your time every day. They're free so it's not like you're losing anything by leaving after an hour if you don't like it. If you want to see all of them you could prioritize what exhibits are unique/semi unique to the Smithsonian. Like the Natural History museum is very cool with a bunch of great fossils, but a lot of it is also not that different from any other natural history museum you've been too.

I think chemotherapy should be free but I don't have cancer. I don't have to live in dorm housing to be an advocate for density.

The anger will be about the fact that it keeps on happening, also the video is supposed to be pretty horrific and given the timing of the release people arent gonna be able to process it before protesting and they're gonna react with a lot of raw emotion.

I went this past weekend, the NE regional is easy and gets you there in 2 hours. I think there's always a late NE regional (like 11:30) out of 30th street to DC on Sunday nights.
As far as being an opposing fan, you should be fine as long as you're not a dickhead. You'll get booed at and jeered but you're not going to be in physical danger.

I was thinking of going to Boundary Stone for some world series games but this is so much easy to get to for me.

If I had to guess I'd say the first big contracts for cloud were from the Feds so they built the facilities out here and then economies of scale took over.

Reply to The Metro is the reason my car stays in the garage for weeks at a time. Without it, I would be driving 3-4 days a week. How much more frequently would you be driving if it weren’t for the Metro? by SuperBethesda
I didn't even bring my car when I moved to the area, I can't even imagine what it would be like without the metro.
