Europe & New Zealand consider Canadian geese an invasive species. I'd love to see MA do the same. Their population growth is not "normal" & is in fact fueled by humans.

It'd be completely reasonable to engage in some population control, like we do with several other species. As the other poster said, their poop makes huge areas of parks basically unusable. They also can't be around airports for fear of another Sully incident. Terrible & invasive bird.

Yeah unlike a lot of police departments, you're not bound by a requirement to buy American 😂 - although some people do self-impose that rule. Basically every car on the market nowadays is an SUV - you've got endless uncoplike options.

If you buy one of these cars, you're a cop at least in spirit. Blows my mind why a civilian would want to drive this. I don't care how good the price was at the auction - give me literally anything else.

Genuine question - do you also favor returning mask mandates to transit/stores/bars/gyms/offices? It makes exceptionally little sense to me to have masks in schools & not these places.

Edit: also - we're so far past lowering community spread having an impact on new variants, lmao. Did previous mask mandates stop new variants from spawning? The data shows they hardly even impacted community spread, much less enough to meaningfully reduce new variants. Your points are weak af & not supported by data.

Right?! Children have been put through an insane level of stress over this virus despite the fact that the data shows that even OG, vaccine-less, covid posed a tiny risk of serious illness to them. This is to say nothing of the Omicron/vaccine world.

It drives me up a wall that people who claim to be intelligent/objective won't look at the data staring them right in their face, just because it's saying something good.

Dog owners have become mighty entitled over the last decade or so. You see dogs in places - grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants - that you used to very rarely see one.

I don't want dogs in places where food is served. Some people seem to think that makes me a dog-hater. It doesn't. Dogs have plenty of places they CAN be.

You're the one that chose the responsibility of owning a dog & the restrictions that come with it. If you can't make it to the grocery store without your dog in tow, just don't go.
