Yeah, exactly! My wife is Chinese, living here in the US and all of her family live in Guangzhou, China. There were protests in Guangzhou, and there were videos of people being bussed to these isolation facilities in Guangzhou- but her family back there don't know anything about it... all they hear about are riots at FoxConn factories because workers were being forced to stay on campus or something like that- this news comes out because FoxConn is Taiwanese, and anything to make them look bad is news over there.

In my opinion, eSIM is a huge pain in the a**. I bought a 14 Pro at launch to test it out, and had to activate the eSIM. That part was no problem. HOWEVER- since I decided I didn't want to keep the phone and go back to using my 13 Pro, that is where the problems really began. Instead of simply swapping a SIM card as I would have done in the past, it ended up being a 45 minute visit at the carrier store trying to get an eSIM moved over to my old phone- after that simply failed, they had to give me a new SIM card that was activated on my account to use on my 13 Pro (since the old SIM that was still in it would no longer work, having been transferred over to the 14 Pro's eSIM).

The ability to quickly and easily swap between phones is a thing of the past with eSIMs.

Is the SE3 a flop? I know when I tried to order one there was a 3-4 week wait from Apple, so I finally had to go to an Apple store about 20 miles away to pick one up last week that was in stock (128 GB version, no store anywhere within 180 miles of me had the 64 GB version, which I wouldn't have wanted anyway)

Anyway, since the SE3 is so similar to the SE2, I thought I would chime in. I agree with you- I just wish that it had the slightly more modern camera hardware on it, even if just for the main camera- but a 2nd camera lens would have been nice. But, I did some side by side comparisons, taking a picture in my yard with the Se3 and my 13 Pro (I am downgrading as I have sensitivity to the OLED screen on the 13 Pro and just never liked the large size, and prefer touchID)- and then viewed them on my 27" iMac. I honestly am not seeing any difference, even when zooming in to 100% on the pictures.

These are fantastic phones at a good price, including about 80% of the perks that the mainstream models have on them.
