You can try to contact the staff writer or the man named in this article, as it seems he dealt with getting his daughter out of Ukraine and I’m sure could give you guidance on how to get your grandmother out. Also, if you haven’t already, seek out free community legal clinics near you for advice on how to move forward as well.

I think it’s reasonable to be skeptical of somewhat suspicious deaths, but I do think this one makes sense logically. These types of accidents do happen, and people don’t asphyxiate due to lack of oxygen in the container, but due to lack of oxygen intake ability (bent windpipe, compressed diaphragm, etc). This can especially happen if the person goes unconscious from lack of oxygen or initial impact of falling. There was a case awhile ago that I remember where someone in a school parking lot was trying to put a seat down or up in their car, crawled over the seat and ended up like bent in a way they couldn’t correct, and ended up getting stuck underneath and died due to asphyxia. I’ll link it if I can find it

Paisano’s in Southampton

Great Greek pizza, and affordable. Not sure if nostalgia makes it taste better but it’s my favorite by far. Similar dupe is Pizza Palace in Granby, MA.

Lucky’s is good for piercings but tbh I wouldn’t recommend their northampton location for tattoos. If you can get on the books for their Boston location that’s a different story- I’ve seen some amazing work come out of that studio.

I know Bang Bang will be able to make a quick mock-up with their system so you’ll be able to see exactly what the tat will look like, and if you’re going to a professional studio I wouldn’t worry about the line art being shaky or blown out. Mine healed great and my friends who have also gone there have had similarly great experiences with both piercings and tattoos. Best of luck!!

My recommendation would be to call ahead for any suggestions you get here because some shops have changed their policies post-covid (no longer accepting walk-ins), and just ask what the shop minimum is and maybe book an appointment since even places that take walk-ins can fill up on a certain day and stop taking walk-ins that day. It would suck to drive a long distance only to be turned away!

That being said, I would recommend Bang Bang Body Arts in Northampton MA. I went there for a walk-in a few years ago and it was a great experience

The victim was an innocent bystander (it’s being reported that it was a manager, I believe his name is Walo but not trying to spread misinfo so please don’t take this as fact, who was trying to break up a fight between two people) at the nail salon called “A Touch of Beauty.” The downstairs location on the first floor near JCPenny. The upstairs location is my regular nail salon. My family was there in the food court when the shooting happened. They said it was chaos and everyone grabbed their kids and left to the closest exits.

My husband and I bought our house a little over 2 years ago and it’s increased in value almost $100K for no reason at all. Our friends can’t find anything even remotely comparable to what we bought our house for and they’re better off than we are… it’s just super unfortunate
