Yeah scratching my head a bit on that. I get not wanting to live in Allentown, but the outlying areas are really nice and benefit from proximity to a larger city.

From a practical standpoint, it's probably necessary to be able to receive some level of gifts. Anything under $50-75 would seem reasonable to me.

Here's the problem... Too many lunatics in the GOP. Republicans who can win a general election have no chance of winning a primary.

I don't think you got my joke. Population losses don't necessarily mean they go somewhere else. We DO have the 10th oldest average population

TBH... I would think there's less emphasis on dealing with extreme surges or outliers with private companies. You'd be paying for a lot of capacity and infrastructure you only need once every few years.

Holy shit this. It's wild to me that a straight majority vote referendum gets something enshrined into the PA constitution. The levels for amendments for the US Constitution are high for a reason.

Don't assume he's an idiot for doing this. This is clearly to erode confidence in elections in favor of republicans. The next obvious leap they'll make is to either hold sham elections or no elections at all. It's deliberate and it's malicious.

Again.... I wouldn't want to live in Allentown proper.... But largely... Yeah they are being dramatic. There's a lot of safe areas around the Lehigh valley. I'd look at crime statistics vs anecdotal evidence.
