Hard to blame people with kids who want to leave the city. It’s on Philadelphia to raise the quality of life to a point where most people actually want to raise kids here instead of those who can leave leaving.

what is so special about 2019? went to that place twice, once in 2008 and again in like 2021 and it was exactly the same both times

That’s a block up. Toast served me Trader Joe’s chicken sausage the only time I went there and I never went back.

Reply to I’m kind of a craft beer noob, but I think it might be my new thing. What are the best breweries/taphouses in the Philly metro? by SculpinIPAlcoholic
Tired Hands in Ardmore makes the best beer around. The owner is controversial, though. When I lived in the city, my favorite breweries were Ars (every beer is excellent, no beer is much of a gimmick) and Second District (every beer is excellent, some fun gimmicks) in South Philly.
Someone also mentioned Fermentary Form, which is probably better than Tired Hands but also more expensive and literally never open.
