Unless you were familiar with the semi permanent flatulence state of gorillas. Maybe you should author a TIL post and give this “discussion” as context?

I am not interested in “your anus”, nor am I confused with the google machine. I am interested in the context in which the peoples are learning these random facts. TIL that gorillas are in a semi permanent state of flatulence. That’s a random fact. Why and how did you come to obtain this knowledge? That is what is interesting.
Clearly I am interested in butts and stuff. So that’s why I know a lot about them.

That’s fair, but I’d still be curious how many of these TIL are discovered. For instance, I was looking up “your anus” but it got autocorrected to Uranus, which started me reading random facts about planets and stuff.

I wish there was context to these TIL. This one in particular gets reposted all the time. I don’t understand the rabbit hole somebody finds themselves in to learn about this grade school level fact.

I will never forgive this movie for making me watch Paddington 2. Why did they not mention Paddington 1? How do they expect somebody who willingly watches a Nic Cage movie to understand the plot twists and science stuffs of the Paddington series? Do you even know how high I was, Nic Cage? That shit is real confusing.

What’s with this “no one cares” nonsense?
Should anybody care is debatable, but I care God Dammit! And according to my mom I am a somebody!

I empty the box of powder into the old economy sized pod container and keep a giant spoon in it for scooping.
I also made a tape handle to make the container easy to grab.

My dishwasher has one crank style knob, so the fact that my wife used Cascade Platinum Pods with Gold Flakes seemed a little pricey for the machine.

This channel is legit. I got my wife to watch the dishwasher video, and now I can buy cheap and easy old school powder.

I use the George Motz method. Regardless, it’s definitely my favourite style of burger.

When I entered the park one of the Park Rangers was an English speaking person. So, my partner and I started talking to her and she said that she had been their for three months and hadn’t seen any. I didn’t know much about squirrel monkeys, I just knew they were super cute and travelled in large groups. We ended up seeing them while descending one of the hilly treks. I totally missed them but my partner was able to see them. They were super cute and made tiny bird squeaks and we got pictures of them holding hands. We also broke all the rules and strayed into the brush and fed them. Best illegal maneuver ever. I’m so sad now as that trip occurred in 2002. I’m so old.

I went there to see squirrel monkeys. And I succeeded. One of the most epic experiences of my life.

Are you telling me that before today, you were aware of the semi permanent state of flatulence of the gorilla?
