I don’t eat meat or dairy unless I know the animals have been raised and treated humanely— pre-pandemic it was all about buying the full animal or going to really local businesses. Pandemic and post-pandemic, it’s been amazing to see how much more you can get. We, also, definitely have noticed how much more cost-effective is now. I recommend it to everyone.

Thank you! That’s where I’m headed — from what my family says, it’s coming down there now.

Thanks for responding! Love the Vermont Reddit!
That’s where I’m at now - I take small routes all the way up so I’m going to hold off until the storm passes.

Thanks for responding!! Subaru Outback, AWD. It’s fantastic in the winter. But I’m one of those people whose driven in bad conditions enough to prefer to hunker down and go later when the roads are sound.

Thanks so much!! I’m hearing the same. I’m a good snow driver but I never trust “wintry mix.”

I’m heading home for the holidays from NYC. I was going to drive up today (from about 30 min away from Canadian border so rural, northern VT) but am hearing mixed things on the driving conditions. Any suggestions?
