Probably, yeah, because malicious people aren't that common. Most people fuck-up out of laziness or genuine incompetence; most people are not trying to deliberately hurt other people. They hurt people with massive incompetence and apathy.

This is a terrible take. Police incompetence/laziness is an enormous problem, and accounts for most of the biggest problems we see with police organizations. Like, Police malice is a really big problem. But it pales in comparison to the incompetence and apathy many organizations exhibit. If you're a True Crime fan, you know how bad and rampant the incompetence can get.

I've really only noticed educational cartoons for children that are younger than six or seven years old. Am I just missing the ones for older kids?

A thing I also found frustrating when I used Paramount+ was the fact that episodes don't have descriptions under them. Makes picking through old Star Trek episodes an absolute chore because I've got no idea what I'm watching till about three minutes into the episode.

I don't think people have forgotten, it's just that so many people just assume it was a camera malfunction or something like that (talking specifically about the tic-tac footage). They don't believe it was extra-terrestrial. My opinion? All of the people saying it's a camera malfunction or parallax effect are completely missing the fact that we have actual eye-witnesses to these phenomena from the Navy pilots. I don't necessarily believe it's aliens or something like that, but I'm also open to explanations that don't involve some confluence of unlikely events involving camera malfunctions and the like.

Reply to comment by SimplyTennessee in DOJ: Salt Lake City plastic surgeon among 4 charged in alleged COVID vaccine card scheme by AudibleNod
If you read the article, it very-much sounds like money was a secondary motivator, the first being their desire to, “liberate the medical profession from government and industry conflicts of interest”, as it's quoted. Normally I wouldn't take this on face value, but it says they sold the fake vaccine-cards for "either $50 cash payments or 'donations to a specified charitable organization' ". So it really does sound like these people were delusional enough to think they were doing something righteous.

I'm sorry for your loss. My father was scheduled for the same flight but decided to postpone his departure by a week. It saved his life, and mine consequently.

I mean, that's basic police procedure. You mainly here about it when they fuck it up, not when they pull the technique off successfully.

This almost happened to me, I had signed up for an appointment online and they only had the Pfizer shot. But on the day I went to my appointment, they got the Moderna version in. Literally that same morning. I lucked-out.
I always get any vaccine I can whenever it's available because it makes me feel like I'm leveling-up my body. Like an RPG. I know that's probably a bad way to think about it, but I can't help it.

This comment betrays your ignorance to a stunning degree. Go look this guy up before you comment; and then you’d see that he has absolutely no qualifications. He’s been in aviation for like two years maximum. That’s not someone you want to pick for this position.
