We just bought in Oregon Hill and are thrilled. We moved to The Fan in 97, then bought in Midlo in 99, then bought in Powhatan in 2002 then sold and rented in Carver in 2021 and here we are. We’ve done the city, suburbs and country and are ECSTATIC to be back in the city for a multitude of reasons. Walkability, restaurants, the river, the energy, the arts scene.

We also have a teenager that’s attends Richmond Public Schools. We living the whole life!

He has been redistricted out of his district (not that he cares) and there will be an election this year. The primary is the most important - Vote for Lashcrese Aird!

So true. John Fredericks, Conservative radio talk show host, has had JM on his show and is telling Repubs to voted for Morrissey in the primary. The voters have to take/sign an oath to vote Dem and when they hear that they tend to leave. Fingers crossed that they still do. Also, VOTE JEN MCCLELLAN!

I got blocked by John Mcguire’s FB page for being outraged on his behalf regarding their Convention to nominate the 7th district Congressional candidate. I guess a Dem protesting voter suppression on your behalf is too much. The gem was that their post was about being suppressed!!

I think you’ve got it backwards. Illegals fund us to the tune of $5 billion a year. They pay for social security benefits they’ll never receive. Our economy would crumble on so many levels without the undocumented workers.

It’s a dangerous crossing to get off the Pulse and run across Broad to catch the westbound bus. I love the Pulse and would be ecstatic is it ran to Short Pump.

I’d love to see the expansion west. The number of folks that have to cross Broad at Willow Lawn to catch the bus at the old Hardee’s is frightening. That’s a lot of lanes to cross and someone is going to die one of these days.

My husband drives one of the Tuk Tuks. He loves it but doesn’t love the folks that insist on a ride when they don’t have mobility issues. It makes the wait extra long for people that do 😞.

I don’t know but it could be The Lab. There is a fair number of local unhoused that I see there in the a.m. Nice folks and treat everyone with the same level of dignity.
