This sounds great! The hubby and I enjoyed reading "Mogworld", which was entirely from the perspective of a video game NPC in a WoW-type game. "Free Guy" only sort of glanced at that existential nightmare of being respawned infinitely.

Uhm, off cuff, what kind of legal trouble? Like I’m okay with stuff like tax dodging or public drunkenness, less okay with Weinstein levels of ick. I don't have much veto power in the world, so voting with my wallet (royalty revenue is totally a thing, ask Enya) is pretty much all I've got.

I will check it out. What's the setting and backdrop? I'm good with sci-fi genre stuff too. I'm old enough to remember seeing The Macross Saga when it first aired here in the States.

I'd watch this series before I went for another SAO knock off. I'm sick of "I got sucked into my video game/rpg and now I'm stuck here". I remember the first time we did that dance, it was called "Dungeons and Dragons: The Animated Series".

Edit: if you want to be specific, we did it before that with the Neverending Story

More or less. It's more like knowing where your head and body are in relation to the surfaces you are interacting with, i.e. the floor and the walls.

Want to test how good yours is? Take a thick cushion off of a chair or couch. Place it on the floor, far away from things, in case you fall over during the test. Now, stand on it, with your feet almost shoulder-width apart. Close your eyes. And just stand there. Feel how much your body has to react to the non-stable surface, without visual cues. Don't hold onto anything and don't put your arms out to balance yourself.

This was one of the tests they made me do for my diagnosis. My wobble was "extensive enough to warrant further testing". A bit of wobble is normal. I almost fell off the cushion thing, twice. That test was less than 60 seconds.

It's best if you have someone to watch you so they can document how much you wobble. Preferably, a physical therapist or neurologist who knows about equilibrium problems.

The thing I love most about this sub is on display in the comments.

We all knew that this isn't the place to ask that, but kind folks have great advice rather than a dozen rude, unhelpful comments and insults.

I've had a really, really tough year, mental health wise, and this sub usually helps to remind me that we can be supportive and kind to each other as humans.

Thank you all.

My guess? Data entry. I do a ton of data entry into spreadsheets and almost never need those keys.

Funny enough, as an old school touch typist, I didn't like using those anyways. Having dedicated numbers is nice for data entry, but for formula entry into cells, I'll use the upper line +/- and all that because I'm already using alpha numeric for the cell identifiers. Just a theory, based on use and layout. YMMV.

EDIT: autocorrect needed fixing
