Actually, the term was introduce by developmental psychologist Jean Piaget who is widely studied in education. He was around from the early to late 1900s. So I guess it’s been a “buzz word” since the 50s?

Scaffolding is an extremely common term in education. It originated with Jean Piaget (give him a Goog if you are not familiar). Why would a teacher be “terrible” if they used that term?

Please cite your sources that say the DOE is “eliminating standards.” Also, what school do you work at?

Back in the day, I used it as a cheaper alternative to hotels, especially because I traveled solo a lot. Now? I haven’t used it in years. I used VRBO over the summer and it was fine (VERY expensive) but I got something (a deck with a private pool) I wanted that I couldn’t find at hotels in the area. I don’t feel like dealing with the hassle and BS of air b&b, I just use hotels.

My husband rides the trains every day. He has a game where he takes the pics (that Adams asked for) and sends them to me. I have dozens. I also see it on the rare occasion I take the train. I am also a city employee. I would have lost my damn job if I was ever on my phone like that.

This is a laughably stupid article.
