You know there are no laws saying a large corporation has to allow subordinates to do skip-level reviews. C-suite could just not do them if they didn’t value the data so doing them in such a way that causes retaliation and bad blood is extremely counterproductive. Not saying it never happens but I’ve been working for a fortune 50 tech company for almost a decade and have never heard of such a thing.

She’s like a Hindu nationalist. If you’ve never worked with a condescending Indian who sees you as the untouchable caste for being a White American, I can understand where you might think she’s a decent person with a different POV. In reality she’s likely quite bigoted.

Studies have shown that greater enforcement of rules leads to compliance better than stiffer punishments. So hiring more rangers is better than harshly punishing the one very unlucky person we actually catch.

Well when it comes to crops that are stupidly easy to grow and require a ton of resources, it makes sense to give the largess generated by their cultivation back to the public. So maybe things like alfalfa, Timothy hay, and Doug for should be cultivated by the state.

I’m no socialist but timber products should be a state run industry.

Are the poisonings of the wolves on private lands? If on public then all that needs to be done is revoke these leases (and somehow enforce it without bloodshed). Seems a very risky maneuver to undermine other users of public lands (i.e. conservationists trying to restore the environment in the west to its former glory).

Why not barn your herd at night? Is it because these cattle are grazing on thousands of acres of public USFS property?

I could be mistaken but these look like maybe yearlings. Mama bears let them sink or swim after raising them their first season. At least that’s what fish and wildlife told me when I reported an abandoned bear cub on an MTB trail I frequent.
