No, because it is expensive and unless the rest of the US joins in it is moot. I doubt the NHTSA is chill with sudden jumps between units between states.
Also most all kids learn both, everyone in the sciences is trained in metric already. It needs to be nationwide or not at all

My optometrist said I have great vision, so out of curiosity I asked if any patients had super human eyesight. He said one patient who he saw into his 80’s could see hikers 2/3rds up Si from the Dairy Freeze.

I’m definitely reading the colors as more in the 4 foot range, I think the issue is the colors are not super distinguishable below 5 feet

Nah it seems about right, Mt. spokane gets like 100 less inches a year than Snoqualmie and like 250 less inches than Stevens.
The Cascades definitely pull out waaaay more moisture

Again, I said they controlled the state senate IN the last 10 years.

The state constitution prohibits an income tax, the supreme court was deciding if taxes on capital gains (like selling stock) count as income tax

I live in the West, but anytime someone says something about the Eastside being “ugly” it is an immediate tell that they haven’t traveled most of the state.
Potholes and the Columbia refugee are a great example

Considering they carry millions of riders and thousands of cars across a body of water they’d otherwise have to drive around, yes, I think so.
Can you imagine I-5 traffic through Tacoma if everyone going to the OP had to bottleneck there as well

Yup, WA has rainforest and desert. You can go from a place that average 7 and a half inches of rain a year to one that averages 125, in like 6 hours.
Alaska has WA beat for sheer awesome beauty, but WA definitely has more diverse terrain.
Also fun fact WA produces about 70% of Americas apples.

It’s ok,
I’ve had a similar encounter in Seattle once too, hateful people are everywhere unfortunately, not trying to say rural places don’t have predominantly nice folks

Got a bottle thrown at me and my BF in Carnation once, and one time called some slurs in Aberdeen. Got yelled at by some neo nazis outside Ferndale once, but that was mostly racial slurs directed at my friends.
To be clear most people in rural parts of all of the country are nice people, it’s just you’ve got a higher per capita chance of running into a nutter in rural areas.
