This place by the Jiffy Lube in Ayer is $350,000.
It's ridiculous, although I hope someone restores it, it is somewhat historic.

I moved here 5 years ago with no job - now own a duplex, you can do this.
I like the Northwest Metro - I can get to Boston, Worcester, Framingham, up to Nashua/Manchester, Franklin Pierce or even Keene is within reach.
https://cthrupayroll.mass.gov/#!/year/2023/ has state employee payrolls if you would like to see what your job might make here.

Used to be Miller's Department store. I remember shopping there a few times. Boy's department was downstairs, it was horribly depressing.
Alec's was originally around the corner, down West Pearl If I'm remembering right.

Waterville Valley has a dark skies ordinance and is surrounded by national forest. Bike paths might still be snow covered. Road bikers love route 49 down to Campton.
Mud season will mean cheap lodging but most restaurants closed. Weather could be anything and everything all in one day.

I would never drive a defective car, why do I need to pay the government to check on me? or my neighbor?
