Always get your own router and modem, they rip you off on the pricing.
Boxes for each room? A couple of Roku or Android TV boxes work great if you just want streaming stuff.

Not sure the actual numbers but speedtest.net says I get 1400/45. I pay $90/mo.
Once I found out I was getting over 1000 down, I bought a new cable modem with a 2.5gigabit port on it to see how much higher it was.
Fidium just came through over the summer, so I may switch eventually, I think they're $70 for 1000/1000 as a promo then it goes to $90/mo.
Honestly all I want is faster uploads, I'd stay w/Comcast to avoid all the hassle of switching if they'd just increase my upload speed (which supposedly is happening around the area, like in Sanford, ME according to the tech that I spoke to last year)

I have Comcast, but only pay for internet, got rid of the TV portion years ago. I can access local news on regular YouTube (and it's posted up as individual news stories, so it's faster to scan for a news story you actually want to watch, vs the 30-60 minutes of blathering they do).
Don't care about "live" TV, most shows eventually come to Hulu or Netflix. Hulu seems to be faster with some shows, with a few showing up a day or 2 after they air.
My GF loves soccer, so I found you can install the Fox Sports app on an Android TV box (you DO NOT have to make a Fox Sports account) and then authenticate w/ Hulu and watch the World Cup without paying for sports (we just have the regular Hulu commercial free subscription).
My setup...
I'm using an Onn Android TV box ($20 from Walmart) https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Android-TV-4K-UHD-Streaming-Device-with-Voice-Remote-Control-HDMI-Cable/636597403
I don't use the native YouTube app since it will force feed you commercials, installed SmartTubeNext which can skip commercials and has sponsorblock filters https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTubeNext
So we watch YT without commercials, it works great, ZERO commercials (a lifesaver during election season).

Did you zoom all the way in to house level? Everywhere I checked listed companies and speeds.
And yes, it's not a great site, half the time I'd zoom in it wouldn't load properly.

Make sure you check https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/ and zoom all the way to house level to see what kind of service is available.
I've been in IT for 30+ years and have WFH quite a bit, and lived all over New England, slow internet will suuuucccckkkkkk.

I never answer if I don't know the number. If it's important, they'll leave a message.
I also run RoboKiller on my phone to screen calls. If I know someone is calling (like for a Dr. appointment) I'll disable it for a few hours to ensure it comes in.

When I lived in apartments I had to rent one to store my bike, snowboard gear, racks for my truck, and my 17' sea kayak, it sucked because the cost of a year of a unit was equal to buying a new kayak each season. Glad I have a house w/a garage now.
When I would go to get my kayak to go paddling, I'd see people's units open with just tons of shit: particle board furniture, bags and bags of baby clothes, literally garbage.
And yes, I held on to stupid shit too because I had the space in the storage unit, but then I'd have to lug that crap to the next place I lived (and to a new storage unit). Now I'm all about downsizing to the bare essentials, but it's a struggle to get rid of some things because "they're already paid for, and I might use them again some time". I have to tell that voice in my head to fuck off, hahaha.

If you're on the Seacoast, Pease is the 157th Air Refueling Wing, so the tankers are up flying daily, plus occasional other military jets.

Reply to Where to buy new, solid wood furniture? by -Outis-Nemo-
An "out of the box" thing you may want to try is contacting woodworking schools.
Newmarket has one. They may have recommended woodworkers who have taken classes.

Another option would be talking to someone at a woodworking store like https://www.woodcraft.com/ (Newington) or https://www.rockler.com (Salem) to see if they can recommend anyone.

That fine is way too low for something that can kill someone.
I don't know what a good fine # would be, but besides the amount, add 500 hours of community service. If they can't take 5 minutes to clear their car, they can go spend 500 hours shoveling snow.

I thought Roku could do that (or at least search through all the connected services).
I use JustWatch.com on my phone to see where something is available. It can also keep track what you watch, but I've been using a trakt.tv account w/TVST (iPhone) for quite a few years, so I'm staying with that (unless JustWatch integrates with trakt.tv)

North Conway will look nice, decorated for Christmas. If there's snow, and you like x-country skiing, Jackson is the place for that.
Funspot in Weirs Beach (Laconia) has the largest arcade in the world, full of restored classic games if you're into that, it's always fun for a few hours, plus they're open until 10pm so you don't waste your day in an arcade. https://www.classicarcademuseum.org/
On the Seacoast, Portsmouth will be decorated.
Unless you have some little New England towns picked out for your drive, you could drive to Boston and take in some sights, then take the train down to NYC.

"not the right time" means they're waiting for Federal approval of cannabis, so they can add it to their state liquor store monopoly. Right now the state can't sell pot, so they can't make all the money.

Once it becomes legal, watch how fast that Berlin greenhouse project that promises local food sustainability throws all their lettuce and tomatoes away and switches over to cannabis.

“I do not vote in both (states) at the same time,”
Of course not, he votes in one state, then drives down to the other, how could he possibly vote in 2 places a the same time :) (well, technically his statement is correct).
Also, identity thieves are running around voting in the 2 districts his houses are in? Right...
