What happens when you get hit by a car, but it’s not enough to go to the hospital? Do you exchange insurance information? Do you sue the driver? Do you call the police?

It feels like they should not drive away with peace of mind.

Same thing happened to me once on grove and grand. I had had a terrible day at work, and as soon as the driver opened his mouth, I uttered a “shut the fuck up” out of nowhere. Didn’t know I had that in me lol. The dude proceeded to stay quiet and left the scene slowly. (Thank god he didn’t have a weapon I guess).

Oh boy, I get panic attacks just thinking of this crossing section.

You also forgot that every single car will stop ON the crosswalk, instead of 5 feet behind, blocking pedestrian out of the “safe zone”.

Once I had a guy who wanted to make the left towards LSP, but obviously couldn’t, so he literally stopped even further from the crosswalk. He then realized his mistake WHILE I was crossing with my stroller, and he started backing up and almost sandwiched us with the other car behind. I don’t think I yelled louder in my life.

Rant over.
