As a runner, I loooove church hill! You can run down 21st st to the capital trail, run east along the river, then run back up one of the best (worst) hills ever, hit the stairs at libby and end exhausted with views of the city to limp home. It’s absolutely a favorite - it’s about 5mi to the pool house area at rockets landing and back, but you can go as far as you want - if you make it a 10mi run, it’ll include some forested areas and a nice peaceful feeling like you’re in the country vibe…. It’s one of the absolute best runs… I could do it every day (except for that hill/the stairs 😂). It’s brutal and beautiful and mostly with no cars around.

We usually get our first early bird stragglers at around 430, then it’s super busy 6-7, and the last stragglers are usually around 8/830… those are usually the families in cars, just driving around looking for desperate people who are desperate to get rid of the last of their candy 😂

I drove that this morning (coming from 64, eastbound) and didn’t notice anything different and traffic was as much as a cluster fuck as it always is. I’m suspecting most people (like me) missed all the signs and were driving like zombies this morning. There was definitely a truck with a giant trailer coming down that lane (right most lane on 95) making it extra hard for me to merge left with the 95 traffic…

This is huge but I don’t understand what it means? Like, even if it’s ruled in favor of the tenants….nobody is going to roll back rent?

I feel like the jump in rental pricing is just here to stay regardless of the outcome of this case… Would best case scenario just stagnant rents at current rates? Or is this wild annual percentage jump here to stay with or without an algorithm because now people see it can be done?

When pricing rentals, the game landlords play is generally “go as high as I possibly can in the current market,” especially with these huge companies, I’m really struggling to understand if this case would actually change anything, other then get a bunch of tenants a single check in the mail in damages?
