This is a crazy argument people make about iPhone. I get more done if I’m being bothered by notifications less. I don’t want my phone to run my life, it should only be there when I need it. The reminders app works perfectly. I can make lists. It reminds me of things I need to do as does the calendar app. I don’t need other bothersome notifications. Keep the Android crap on Android.

It probably depends on where you live, what type of weather you receive, etc. I personally use Today weather. But there are lots to chose from. Try them out and see which works best for you.

Dark Sky had a cult following. If you read what meteorologists say it was really nothing special. It was good at telling you what the current weather was but had no magical way of predicting future weather any better that the others. There are multiple weather apps that are just as good.

Thank you for the meaningful dialogue. I agree with your first premise. As far as the rest, that is subjective. For some, who use their phone to listen to music, watch videos or comment on Reddit that may be true. It’s subjective. At the other end of the spectrum, if you own a small business your smartphone is a pocket computer. It connects you to your clients and business partners. It’s a payment processing tool bringing in revenue. It’s with you 24 hours a day and you cannot risk it being damaged or not working. There is an ROI just like a relationship. That’s why you’ll see a range of answers to this question.

The best thing about a case is I can set my phone face down on a table and not have to worry about scratches on the screen.

We invest (spend a lot of money) in our phones because we do expect something in return. Not for the value of the phone to increase but because we run our business from it, keep in touch with friends and family far away or are entertained by it. We invest in things to improve our lives.

Depends on the tires. There are some very good all season tires that can handle winter driving. I live in Buffalo, NY and my Subie has all weather with no issues. You have to know your geography and what you will encounter.

Can we please stop the preaching and these ridiculous posts? Do you really think you’re better than or different than the rest of the country? Maybe you should get out more.
