Worthy Burger is on the way though (South Royalton). Get off 89 at exit 2 and back on at exit 3, I do it all the time on the way to Burlington. Very family friendly. Also just friendly friendly.

Seems like there are a lot of jobs similar to the B&J one you called out on this site.

We use Little Remedies. Same thing, and our 1 y.o. likes the flavor better than the Tylenol brand. Amazon has it in stock. Amazon also has the Tylenol in stock. Granted I’m a flatlander so I recognize delivery times to VT may not make this feasible for a sick kid.

Yes! I think it was that weekend. Interesting. But who is crossing borders to celebrate the other country’s Thanksgiving??

Yeah, part of the issues was it was our first time to Canada in a long time so we kind of wondered if this was normal. In reality the wait had became a sunk cost, but so hard to think that way in the moment. Also we were in an EV, so taking alternative routes become even more limited! Thanks for the suggestions though, will do next time.

We came back (to VT) through Alburgh a few weeks ago. Two lane road, so single file line. American cars pretty much got waved through, while Canadian cars no exaggeration took 15-20 mins each. So about a 12 car line took us 1.5 hours. Can’t even imagine how far the line backed up behind us.

Dealerships’ biz model is based on repairs. They sell you the car for marginally over MSRP, then they charge the mfgr for repairs while you’re under warranty and charge you exorbitantly once you’re out of it. EVs have so little maintenance and service required that this model just doesn’t work. All the new pure EV’s (Tesla, Lucid, Rivian) operate this way because they have no baggage associated with long standing dealership networks.
I found this report pretty interesting: https://legislature.vermont.gov/assets/Legislative-Reports/VTrans_DTC_Report-FINAL-12-14-2020.pdf

Sure I could have googled that, but there’s significant precedent that things aren’t pronounced the same in VT as they are in real life.

If your concerts are at the TD Garden, you can park on any street in Charlestown for free after 6pm on Fri and all weekend, it’s a 10 min walk across the bridge to the Garden. Same hack works for Fenway, but you’d have to take the green line from North Station. Depends how much $$ you’re trying to save vs. time!
